Behind the scenes reporting of the 1935 Hochi Shinbun-sponsored match between the teams of Suzuki Tamejiro & Segoe Kensaku (the oldsters) and Kitani Minoru & Go Seigen (the youngsters).
I bought this as an e-book through the smartgo books app. It's really very cool. All the diagrams are interactive so you can play the sequence out. I worry that using it will make me lazy but it was a lot of fun to use.
As for the book itself, I think this is another great offering from Fairbairn. It is really neat to have such an in depth view of the thought processes of professional players. Furthermore it was cool to see where the consultants agreed and when the analysis of the two teams converged and when it diverged. Like 9 Dan showdown he is also able to bring a certain amount of characterization of the players into the picture which makes it all the more fun.
