Overwritten at the beginning, poorly edited overall, the action sequence is unclear and difficult to read with a finale that is beyond unrealistic.
I admit, I went into this Amazon freebie thinking it was erotica. I don't mind that it's not, but I wish it had proved to be good enough to be worth the 20 minutes I spent reading it.
It started off well, but then proceeded to go downhill, and never really recovered. The initial pages seem like the only ones to have undergone any form of proof reading, or editting. It must have some saving graces, as it was placed 1st in a heat of a short writing competition, but sadly not one of the better things that I have read recently.
The story had a good start but then it jumped to a dead ending just as I really got into it...it felt like there should be more but someone...the author...shut the door?!?
