This book is absoutley disgusting. The characters, well they are disgusting. All they are and always will be is sex driven, and jealous crazy when someone looks at their "soul mate". The writing is not only offensive, but absoutley shitty. While reading this book I noticed the author pulled the classy Racism card. "Strange. Someone so stunning usually gets adoring eyes and envious glares, not hate filled ones. Is it because she's white? The population of the school is 98% Native American." Are y ...more

A nice read following the twilight romance recipe (sometimes in my opinion, a little too close).

Other than that, it was quirky and fun with a nice original take on the vampire and werewolf mythology. Both Jay Dee and Tanis are likeable and don't afraid to display emotions or temper. You feel for the characters, you root for them and by the end you are involved in a rather complicated tale of inner species politics.

Didn't care for the abrupt ending, I felt it was there just for the sake of it and

A New Adult Werewolf/ Vampire romance: filled with intense emotion, strong stubborn possessive characters and a whole lot of secrets to be revealed!

This book reminded me a lot of Twilight and The Vampire Diaries. While it reminded me of those things this book had its very own story line that flowed quite well and kept me wanting to read more. I look forward to reading more of this story as it becomes available.

Jay Dee doesn't know where she came from, who she is, or why she washed up on the beach when she was a child. The only life she had ever known was on the reservation with her tribe and pack. In a world of bronze skin and dark werewolv

Although this work showcased nothing new in terms of the old werewolf/vampire relationships, it was still a good read. I enjoyed it.

It was very much the YA to NA range, including high school, although not to any large degree, parents, friends, peers and so forth. It also included the 'doesn't fit in' genre, which was well integrated into both the theme and story of the novel.

The love interest was pretty typical, with both characters being depicted well and likable. The romance was sweet, with al

A Werewolf s Tale

I wanted so much to like this book! I couldn't get passed the language. It was unrealistic and in bad taste. Her mom (the Alpha) just laughed along with her kids swearing and calling each other names? Really? I couldn't finish this book. When she grabbed her crotch and flipped his brother off, I was done. I really tried to keep reading. The idea was good but just couldn't do it.

I liked this story line and the characters, but it was all a bit too quick and slow at the same time if that makes sense.
the plot was refreshing but then it must got a bit boring and predictable. Thus I'm not that bothered and I likely to read the next installment. The story, while good, didn't captivate me enough to continue the series.

Absolutely loved this book. From the minute i sat down and started reading it I could not put it down. Danae Ayusso has the talent of not just delivering a great story, but giving it life. Every story you read by her you cant help but feel as if you have grown to know the characters.
Jay Dee was found unconscious on the beach and adopted by the Alpha couple of the werewolf pack. Jay Dee has white blonde hair and white skin and can change into an all white wolf, where as the people around her in

This is not your average Vamp/Shifter book. This story will transport you to a whole new world. As you start, you feel as if you're reading a YA novel. But the attitude and maturity of the characters is beyond that. I think readers of all ages will agree that this saga is amazing. You're sucked in and left begging for more at the end.

Jay Dee is an outcast in her own Werewolf pack. She falls for a Vampire and from there they struggle to save all of mythical kind. There are twists and turns throu

I didn't actually think this book was like Twilight. I mean sure there were werewolves and vampires in both stories and a destiny kind of love but thats it. The rest of the plot is totally different. Plus this book had a lot of humor. The vampires were totally full of themselves but they knew they were full of themselves and joked about it often. The plot was interesting and the characters lovable. All around a good read and I can't wait to see what happens next.

I honestly really loved this book, it was a bit different than other werewolf novels. However I am confused by publishing dates posted here. It says they are both released in 2010, it is now 2012 and I can only find this novel for sale, not the second. Anyone know what's up with that?

The language was horrible and the story was a complete rip off from Twilight. The few changes there were, to the storyline, were all bad.

Really liked the story line but the typos and mistakes brought down the overall rating for this book. Would recommend regardless.

Modesty is overrated.
