This is a very good guide, and it even has a troubleshooting section! It has lots of techniques, and instructions on how to combine PMC with other materials. I just wish that the author didn't act so allergic to traditional silver smithing techniques! I'd like to know more about combining PMC with elements fabricated using more traditional methods.

An excellent overview of working with precious metal clay. It includes tips for making your work easier (including low humidity), and a how-to section on fixing mistakes.
My only criticism is that the examples of finished work were not of the quality that I expected.

I keep checking this book out; the problem is that there's no way I'm buying a kiln anytime soon.
