I bought this book as my daughter is currently studying for GCSEs and I thought I might pick up some tips. Well, she is not that interested in the tips but I have been fascinated by some of the ideas in the book. I have read Tony Buzan before, I like his mind maps but found his memory techniques a bit cumbersome. Dominic's ideas are a bit more straight forward although the do take some work. The link words idea for language learning is great and is one of the ideas my daughter has taken on board ...more

This book should be considered a classic, not just for its revolutionary techniques, but for the incredible results it brings. I could learn hundreds of facts, foreign language sentences and more using this guide. This book helped me learn vast amounts of information quickly. Forget mnemonics and so-called learning techniques, the techniques here are proven by 8-times World Memory Champion. He writes succintly and encouragingly, and is a perfect friend to guide anyone through the world of studyi ...more

I read it a month ago and it is amazing.
I am applying all techniques since then and I am finding all of them effective.
In our schools and educational institutions, everyone just say us to learn things but nobody tell us how to learn. So this book will probably give you a method.
I am applying techniques given in this book. I am creating connections between words (mnemonics) so that I can easily remember.I have also made my own Dominic system for numbers which is helping me to learn history dates

I love this book. Reading this book helped me unlocked most of my potentials like believing that I can do more. I just didn’t like some of his tips in memorizing things.
