I finished this during my staff development meeting. Mostly I read it through lunch but I was so close to finishing I kept going till it was done. It was GOOD. This is a very fast pace book even for a YA. I have to buy the other two books later, I Love how it's developing.

I was really fond of this series. It was a sweet, fast read and packed with fantasy, and I really could relate to the characters. This book fell way below expectations. The writing wasn't as good, and it's possible this may be faulty editing, it seemed like it needed to be edited a few more times.

The story itself was not good. It went on and on, without getting to it's point, and it seemed like a filler book to be honest. Very disappointed. Not feeling too excited about purchasing the next one.

Not as enjoyable as the previous 2 books in this series, but we are hooked & will read the final 2 when they come out. Loved meeting Ethan Rose (co-author w/his wife)! He signed all 3 & we chatted a bit. Check out their website & cool goodies for sale.
