Impenetrable. If you have already made a violin then this book may have some good points but for a beginner with no previous experience it makes no sense at all. Terms are introduced with no reference and the photos are really not a great help. Very disappointed

It has many illustrations, but sometimes I feel it has the wrong illustrations. After reading the text I’m at several points confused on what it tries to get me to do. But I have only read the book, and maybe this become apparent once I hold the pieces in my hands.
