This story starts on a humorous note, with Dean preparing for a little intimate fun with a melon. When his straight roommate and secret crush catches him, he’s shocked to learn that Rick has been lusting after him as well and is bi. They then have some fun with chocolate sauce, whipped cream and other sundae toppings.

I had a few issues with this story (apart from kinky use of a melon). These two men have been living together for three years, and when Dean says he didn’t think Rick would be inter

A good, short piece of erotica with a different twist. Dean is all set for an afternoon of self-gratification with a cantaloupe and his favorite porn flick. He just gets into it when his roommate walks in three hours early from a ball game. Dean is all kinds of flustered when Rick offers himself to Dean. Rick is bisexual and has been hot for Dean all thee years that they've been roommates and Dean never had a clue. After the initial

Sweet Jesus, This. was. awful.

I get it it was mean to be a comedy (I pray), but still, too assuming, too unreal, too stupid and add a little ass-holey in the mix.

There were some real jewels in this book when it comes to phrases, but I won't quote as I'm trying very hard to forget.

I was expecting some cute, awkward and sweet little romance, not this.

Katie, BookingIt--"Rick and Dean have a great mini short story together. My preference for stories this length is to have the main characters know each other and these two guys have been roommates for years, yet unknowingly lusting after each other. When they do get together, Rick and Dean have a sizzling afternoon in the bedroom complete with chocolate, strawberries, and whipped cream. Sundae Surprise is a spicy short story sure to please readers looking for a sip of boy/boy action." BookingIt ...more

Two reasons why I'm giving this 4 stars instead of 3. One - food play was a very nice surprise. Although not one of the kinks I particularly like, it was still done nicely here and to the extent I don't see in other books. Plus, it made me laugh. Two - the ending was so out of the ordinary it scored points with me. Sweet is lovely, but sometimes you just need a bit of bitching.

An out and proud bisexual transgender man, DC Juris moved to New York State in 2001 for a real-life romance. By day he is a mild-mannered office manager, by night a passionate writer of all types of romance. He lives in Upstate New York with his husband, two dogs, four cats, and a menagerie of Halloween props just creepy enough to keep people guessing about his sanity. Which is just the way he lik ...more
