Hirohiko Araki ( 荒木飛呂彦) is a Japanese manga artist. He left school before graduation from Miyagi University of Education.
He enjoys the baseball manga Kyojin No Hoshii (Star of the Giants); the video games Mario Kart and Bomberman; and likes Prince and other African-American singers, as well as jazz, rock, and rap.
Jojo's bizarre adventure is a manga with an incredible and unique art style and is an action book with specialized weapons called stands. It is really hard to find a topic for this book because of the jam packed action but I have been able to come up with the topic of determination because they showed determination throughout the journey to heal Jotaro's mom.
You know, for as high as I am on part 3, I actually wasn't terribly invested in Abdul vs Polnareff or Josuke vs fish. The first was uneventful, and the second just didn't hold my interest. It's not a big deal though, since the encounter with the orangutan was the right kind of bonkers.
Already, Araki is experimenting with just what a stand can be and who can use it. Throughout, I've enjoyed the mysteries involved. The gang has to determine if what's going on is due to a stand, what that stand's limits are, and who is controlling it. It's really fun and interesting. Because of how fresh stands are, this volume can get away with 2 less than stellar battles.
Since the introduction of the "幽波紋" aka the stand in the previous volume, the story structure has gotten interesting. However, there are still some things that I don't like: -how the male characters treat women (I know this manga is aimed at young boys, but still...) -characters explain EVERYTHING because the drawing is not clear enough and what's going on in the battle scene is too complicated. (Just like Speedwagon did in the previous parts 1 and 2) -I find it weird when the characters actually SAY the word "ニヤリ" instead of just doing it.
What I find interesting: The way Joseph Joestar talks. He talks in an "old man" speech. I wonder when people shift their speech patterns like that. (none of my grandparents or my parents talk like that, but the old people in these fictions talk in this way...)
Jotaro and his allies have fifty days to find and defeat Dio if they hope to save Holy from her feverish Stand - yet they've barely begun their journey when a barrage of skilled and bloodthirsty Stand users challenge them in the sky and beneath the waves, willingly dragging innocents into the mix! Araki is sure to keep fans hooked by every intense twist of this exhilarating and hearty entry. Neither air, land or sea is safe from Dio's reach...
As good as the last one! The art is perfect as well as the characters and I already have the third one and am going to read it tomorrow. Also I really like how there’s parts where the book has color to show how the ability’s represent the user itself. So basically perfect book and can’t wait to read the next!
*sigh* the way this is the third part I've read/watched and the second time a woman is victimized while bathing.... At least this time the creep wasn't the protagonist and instead was LITERALLY AN APE... The more I read/watch the more I'm confused as to how Araki will write a female protagonist because thus far not a single female character has been written well from a feminist perspective...

Akhirnya saya menikmati manga satu ini. Adegan pertarungan pertama Jojo dan Dio versi vamp! Selain makin bara, karakternya tidak berubah. Sebaik-baiknya tokoh utama khas shounen.
The second generation continues to fight against Dio and his minions while finding many allies on the way who are willing to help fight against Dio. However, with more people involved, there are also more people to protect.
