Eloquent writing about growing up and living the outdoors lifestyle in Alaska. Some people move to Alaska, have an adventure or two, and decide they need to write books about it, because, you know, "look-at-me- I'm-such-a-hero-for-toughening-it-out". In other words, crap, and poorly written at that. This reminds me of Seth Kantner's reminiscing. Heartfelt, respectful, and sometimes heartbreaking at the same time. Well done, Steve, I am honored to have met you and Anne.
