Apparently angiotensin II receptor blockers provide a greater renin-angiotensin-aldosterone-system blockade than angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors. Who wants the side effects of a nasty cough with ACE inhibitors anyway??
very beneficial for really understanding heart diseases ... a heavy read for some chapters .. took me a lot of time to pass through . even though i forgot already many details but at the end it was of huge help .
Yes, I am including this book in my read list because I read this thing for college and it stole a lot of time from other more interesting books. Nonetheless, it is a great Cardiology book for starters!
The most amazing book read so far in med school. Love it so much!!! I only wish more can be written like this. Wouldn’t it be nice if there’s a book in similar style written for GI or immunology!
Re-reading, actually, re-attempting to re-read. I'm curious to find out what makes this the ultimate student-friendly guide to cardiology. I just can't seem to get it!
