My second McGrew novel. This supernatural crime thriller, had some very good atmosphere of a rain/flooded small town in Maine. And not every day, that there is a thirteen year old character that is blind and deaf and can hear/sense the whispering of an old evil force. Not to sure about the ending, but an alright entertaining tale.

This is a 5 star book. I loved it! Lots of action right from page one. Excellent story line. Told from each characters perspective. Great amount of spookyness but tastefully done. This is more a thriller than anything. Could even have been a movie. I really enjoyed this one!

I was all amped up for a "scary" book. This book was not scary in the least. It was a bit too graphic in certain points. I still do not really get the ending...I was left in the shadows I guess.
