Chandler McGrew, who began writing after he had turned forty lives in quiet seclusion in the mountains of Maine. He writes ten to twelve hours a day.
Born in Texas he lived for almost a decade in Alaska where his first novel, Cold Heart, is set. He followed with Night Terror and then The Darkening and In Shadows.
My second McGrew novel. This supernatural crime thriller, had some very good atmosphere of a rain/flooded small town in Maine. And not every day, that there is a thirteen year old character that is blind and deaf and can hear/sense the whispering of an old evil force. Not to sure about the ending, but an alright entertaining tale.
This is a 5 star book. I loved it! Lots of action right from page one. Excellent story line. Told from each characters perspective. Great amount of spookyness but tastefully done. This is more a thriller than anything. Could even have been a movie. I really enjoyed this one!
