Повесть из жизни пионеров, рассказывающая о «военной тайне», которой владели и владеют наши люди, о великих идеях братства, труда и любви к своей родной земле.
Arkadi Petrovich Golikov, better known as Arkadiy Gaidar (Аркадий Гайдар), was a Soviet writer, whose stories were very popular among Soviet children. His story "Timur and his squad" (1940) made Gaidar famous. The character Timur was named after and partially based on Gaidar's son. A captivating account of an altruistic pioneer youth gave birth to the mass Timur movement among Young Pioneers and other child organizations all over the Soviet Union.
Don’t waste your time. I am pity the trees that were used to print this disaster-book. When you reading the book, you start to understand why the Soviet generation so fucked up. And the worst part is that this was printed as “literature for children”.
Interesting and revealing lots about early socialism. It describes everyday life situations and do not apply a right-thinking doctrine. It reveals that life can be difficult in each political regime and it is important to keep values and to make meaningful decisions.
