Stella spent most of her childhood doodling, drawing, making things and playing with guinea pigs. Stella joined Usborne in 2004 as a designer and illustrator of children's books.
I'm not a fan of the word "squashy"... I prefer "squishy." (This review is dedicated to Casey Arn, who "feels" like the textures are repetitive... Literally)
This book is good for the curious infant. There are some interesting textures to touch and feel and it is quite short. My little one enjoys most of the textures, but really has more fun just turning the thick sturdy pages. There isn’t a story, as it is just a series of pictures and words describing those pictures. This is a good book for very young babies as it is short and can hold their attention. For babies older than 6 months it is nice to read a few others along with this book.
