This takes place in the Dragonlance setting and is a second book of a trilogy. This continues the story of Linsha Majere as she survives the attack by the Tamraks. She meets up with fellow knights, centaurs, and members of the Legion as they travel the Plains of Dust to warn the inhabitants of the impeding attack from the Tamraks.

I really liked this book and this trilogy is getting better and better. The first book must be read to understand what is happening in this book. Linsha is a strong wi

Second book in the trilogy - and I finished this in a day. Even though things looked gloomy after the first novel, the second one only makes it look gloomier and gloomier - not much hope, especially not since both Linsha and her close friend, the bronze dragon/kittycat (and man!) After the survivors of the battle for Mirage are almost wiped out, they ret

wow,am thoroughly enjoying the linsha trilogy, she is such a well loved heroine but she is so gullible she is getting caught in every trap set for her and in this book linsha gets to lose all her friends and fellow knights!! its quite a brutal book and must admit half way through I could not stop reading and when I finally switched off the light to go to sleep I could not sleep a wink for worrying about her!! the dragons also suffer tremendous losses and I am so worried for poor crucible!! still ...more

A good continuation of the trilogy. I was correct in my guess of who the traitor was and Crucible's human form. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens next.

A great book, so far best of the trilogy, and up there with the original 6 dragonlance books.

Great continuation of the series, lots of action, and entertaining plot. Even if I did see the two big "twists" at the end coming from the very beginning of the book.
