About the author

William H. Carey is a 1976 graduate of Galway High School, Galway, NY. He received ministerial training in Schenectady, NY, and was ordained an Apostolic Pentecostal minister in 1981. He was the founder of the first LGBT-affirming Apostolic Pentecostal denomination in 1980, which has grown into the Global Alliance of Affirming Apostolic Pentecostals.

Rev. Carey began studying Greek at the age of 12, and Hebrew at the age of 19, and has researched scripture in those languages. He currently resides in Ferndale, MI.
