This book goes through very interesting subjects in quite a short book starting with ancient cosmology and ending up where we are today in our knowledge of the Universe.

Well, I won this book on Goodreads in late March and still haven't received it. That's a subtraction of two stars for poor customer service and one star because only an exceptionally rare book would receive five stars on my scale. "Keep looking up!"

UPDATE: Received book. Added star. (I'm sure Penprase had nothing to do with it being late. Publishers be darned!) This is clearly a class textbook, however... I guess I'll have to read it like I'm back in school ...earning my three requisite science credits for my degree.

This was a book I won through Goodreads FirstReads and I can't wait to receive it. Review coming soon - but I am fascinated by celestial observations and can't wait to dive in! ** I finally received my copy after 8+ weeks and will post review soon.
