At times this read more like a diary than a book. Be warned some of the language and concepts are extremely outdated and were upsetting to read, especially as a woman. Some good nuggets of wisdom scattered mostly at the beginning but take this whole book with a grain of salt. Be aware of seeking comfort in these pages because you likely won’t find that. Still had some good insights though which is why I can’t rate it only one star.

I read this book in a community college sexual intimacy course (the author of this book was my professor). It was so insightful and helped me navigate the relationship I was in at the time. Ultimately I realized that relationship wasn’t meant for and no longer served me. This book still helps me navigate relationships to this day. If you’re struggling in a relationship or want to educate yourself for future relationships, this book is a great place to start.
