Rate this book
From the depths of the ocean emerges a naive male upon the world from which his sex was banished in disgrace centuries before. Meanwhile, Ana, Matriarch of the Earth and Queen of Steriles, waits with her grim armies for the coming of Yeni, she whom many call The Messiah, last of Those Who Bleed with the Moon, who, even now is being thrust across the deserts towards the tented city by naked Amazoni hordes. Meanwhile,in The Candle Palace - a single perfect pearl set in a purple valley - The Others begin their Full Moon Debauch to celebrate and conjure up the mythical Man-God of Prehistory. Meanwhile, from the swamps and bone yards, come the crawling creatures of the night, triggered by some lunar madness, to destroy the last vestiges of human civilizations. Meanwhile, high in the mountains, twelve amnesiac males, sterilized for sacrifice, shuffle through the snow with shackles and shovels, sweeping away their footprints behind them. Meanwhile, from the far horizon, come the swift galleys of the Fire Pirates, the Ecological Madmen, their lookout kites silhouetted high against the sky. Meanwhile, deep in the dripping catacombs, The Last Child of Woman Born utters a first mewling cry and opens its eyes upon an utterly bizarre universe. But is it already too late....?

one of the random book I found on the shelve of a squat, I took me sometime to read it and I've to say that probably the weirdest book I've ever read, and that why it was so good, it's not a fantastic book itself but the he characters and the plot definitely are.
