My review is in regards to the board book edition, which perhaps uniquely has little reason to exist. This appears to be a multi week storyline from the comic strip that takes the dialogue and just proses it with awkward "said over and over" language that makes subtext textual in an unwelcome and clumsy way. I'm relatively confident the art is altered significantly from the original, but it's mostly passing. Most annoying, it's published as a board book, what one usually gives to sub- or barely-literate children and the font is done at the size of a mass market paperback, with some pages bearing paragraphs. Little wonder I got the box set of 8 of these critters at Ollie's for like $9.99, it's dross.

After teaching my 2 year old that hitting is wrong & hurts others, this book shows Lucy punching her brother over his own personal item.

And then Lucy buried someone else’s property! Like, honestly, I get the attempt at a joke, but it’s over the top and harmful. Lucy suffers no consequences for her actions.

So adorable! Poor Linus, having to deal with his sister's dislike for his blanket! I loved this one!

Poor Linus! Being forced to give up his literal “security blanket” (a comfort object to provide emotional security and psychological comfort) by his big sister :’)

Linus is soooooo overdependent on his beloved blanket for emotional support. The kid obviously has issues, and now it'll take more than his blanket-hating grandma and his even bigger non-blanket fan sister Lucy to help him overcome his distress. It'll take friends...friends who'll accept him and his blanket warts and all. Delight on every page. It is Peanuts, y'know!

Delightful, brief book that covers emotional issues very gently and warmly (no pun intended).

Ugh, so dull. I kept waiting for some action or character development, but it didn't come.
