I knew how to crochet a single chain, but had trouble figuring out to build off from that. This book has pretty good diagrams and explained that one needs to create "turning chains" which clarified things a whole bunch for me.

Interesting book, with some really nice patterns.

For a beginner it might now be the best. Very easy to be overwhelmed in the first few pages with the terminology. The photos are nice of the patterns provided withing the book.

I picked this book up for those rare times where I find myself needing to know how to crochet. It is very helpful and I'm sure I will be getting more use out of it in the future.

I am slowly teaching myself how to crochet, this book is great for beginners. The size and price are a bonus, too!
