This book was too "chicken little" for me. It reminded me of those people standing on the street corner with cardboard signs saying "the end is coming". After the first few chapters, I realized that this was politically skewed and the author was "out-there". I was determined to finish it although it was hard for me to take anything seriously. Just to see how far he'd go. He says that at the end of each chapter he will give you a list of the minimum you should do. Funny thing, what he lists at the end of each chapter is basically a summary of what he says in the chapter. There is no additional information. There was some useful information on what you should put in an emergency kit and also tools you should have at hand (although, you could probably find this information just about anywhere).
