I think this book would be most useful to someone well versed in Feng Shui as it is a sort of evidence book of cases she had. As a novice, it didn't help me with any real takeaways except to be more convinced that energy is king! ;)

The stories in this book were extremely illuminating as evidence of how Feng Shui works. I found it quite interesting to learn that the author was one of the main instigators for changing hospital birthing rooms from typical cold sterile hospital rooms into inviting homey places before she became a Feng Shui detective. Her intuition about such things was already honed. Her career path has been an interesting one. Yes, the stories have repetitive elements in them but I read each one and enjoyed the whole book. I would recommend further reading about Feng Shui if you actually want to put the ideas into practice. The first step is clearing your clutter and in my opinion the best book for that is "Clear your clutter with Feng Shui" by Karen Kingston

A great book of her anecdotal experiences as a feng shui psychic. I applied her philosophy/approach to a friend's house, who was having health issues, and made a lot of poignant discoveries. Hoping the changes we made will improve her health, based on this author's perspective. Fun stuff!
