Colonel Jake McCrea's mission is to get Dr. Jessie Stevens and her bioterrorism team in the air. The clock is ticking down to a thermal meltdown at the DEEP lab in Mexico. A terrorist group has attacked the facility and only Jessie knows the combination to the GP2 virus and vaccine.

Jessie wanted the deadly level four virus to burn in the lab until she learned that GP2 may have been secretly cultivated in Florida. As tension flares into attraction with Jake, Jessie won't fall for another man in uniform, even if Jake is the bravest man she's ever met. Still, she's having a tough time concentrating on a killer virus, instead of Jake's killer smile.

Jake doesn't want to take Jessie into a firefight, but she's the only survivor of the DEEP lab scientists with an immunity to GP2. He knows Jessie is stubborn and tough as nails, but can she pull the pin on a thermal device to destroy the virus? With his feelings getting in the way of his mission, could he allow Jessie to put her life in danger?

Whipped Cream Reviews: 4.5 Cherries!
Voted "Book of the Week" by Readers at "The Long and Short of It"

Adrenaline, non-stop action, deadly virus stolen, great romance, and lusciously detailed sex! Thankfully the heroine has energy bars!

When the action was blazing, I was on the edge of my seat. Sometimes I felt a little disoriented, just like Jessie did. Ms. De Sues occasionally used sharp cuts during the action to demonstrate how dire the situation was, and how fast it was moving. Her style made me feel felt like Jessie did, being dragged into a danger and having her guts yanked like she was on a roller coaster. It was quite effective.

This book is a non-stop thrill ride that will jerk and compel you just like Jake did to Jessie. But just as much as it is an adventure, it’s also a hot love story. If you’re looking for an action-packed romance, I recommend Triage.

The Pagan and The Pen Review/ 4 Tarot Cards: Triage is a great read. The lead character, Jessie, is female and she's tough as nails. I love women who are portrayed as tough, yet feminine; one who can kick ass and take names, and still bake a cake without missing a stride. The action in this book is non-stop and well written. I enjoyed the story of Jessie and her job as much as I enjoyed the romance between Jessie and Jake. Ms. De Sues has obviously done a lot of research and tells a credible tale of disaster in the making, terrorism and what it takes to be a woman in a man's world. This one is not to be missed.

Wow, just finished Triage and I'm thinking about reading it again! From the first page you're on a mission to stop terrorists from spreading a deadly virus that could wipe out millions of people! The hero, Jake is all military and the doctor, Jessie, is all about saving people. Their friction makes terrific sex and when it comes time to choose between life and death these two will show how deep their love is. I really recommend this ebook, the story is pulse-pounding, action filled and so realistic it had me wondering if the author knew more about biohazards than she's saying! Great read! I hope she writes a sequel with these two lovers, what a ride!

Found Triage and it called to me as a book I would like. Started reading and couldn't stop. It is just my kind of book. Cherie does a fabulous job of keeping an even balance of suspense & romance. She doesn't venture too far off the path of one or the other. Quick read , first because of its length and second because of it's pacing. It starts fast and never really stops. Jessie and Jake are electric from their very first meeting. You know these are a hot pair of bodies. The love scene is tasteful and yet highly erotic. I absolutely loved it. I have had a hard time as of late finding treasures like this, but this is a definite recommendation for the reader who wants to spend an afternoon lost in a good book. I walked away with a complete story, the warm fuzzy's and a sudden desire for chili. Awesome job Cherie. Keep up the great work!!

Don't have too much to say about this one. It is what it is - the fact that it says "Erotic Romance" in big letters on the front and back of my copy of the book (something I wasn't too happy to have others see =p) should give you a hint. Not that it was a sex-filled romp the whole way through. It wasn't. For me it was a pleasant, light, fluffy read so I could take a break from stress and thinking too much. I quite enjoyed it. I'd give it four stars, but it could have been better written and I don't think it quite deserves to be up there with the other four-star books I've read. But definitely a nice, short tale with a bit of indulgent romance in there.

I read this so quickly because I couldn't put it down. There is so much action and medical and military romance readers will especially like it. There is a great balance of intense action and emotion and lighter moments of sweetness and humor. Triage is another wonderful story by Cherie De Sues.
