Read the Dutch version Bewegingsleer. Essential reading for anyone interested in squatting in Amsterdam and the social struggle of the 80s. I loved it. It is unapologetic (not some revisionist history that rationalizes and/or glorifies past events) but at the same time rather critical and self-reflective. It is also interesting how not much has changed, of course squatting in Amsterdam is nothing like it was in the 80s, but you can recognize the same problems and issues.

Find the book online (either the Dutch 'Bewegingsleer' or the English 'Cracking the Movement') here: http://thing.desk.nl/bilwet/index.htm...

Finding physical copies of these books today is rather difficult.

Boring incoherent mess discussing squatting. This book was difficult to get through but gave some insight into the struggle of dutch squatters.
