After Emiya loses Saber to Caster, he becomes completely lost without direction and visits Fuyuki Church to receive advice from Kotomine. There, he learns that his foster father Kiritsugu was a Master 10 years ago. Although this causes conflict inside of him, he finds strength and decides that he must save Saber no matter what.
This volume is mainly set-up, so it's not very exciting. Lancer is the star of the volume and caught all my attention. Art-wise I find it good enough, but there's a sad case of too many frontal-faces-without-noses.
reread: Der Fanservice mit Saber zerstört für mich die bedrückende Situation dieses Bandes. Dabei zeigt er so wunderschön, woher die kommenden Emotionen herkommen werden.
