It was okay 2.5

It was ok. If you’ve already build up your credit and cleared your debt. Don’t buy this book. Most of the book was about that. I barely feel like I learned anything but it was $8 so. It was also kinda boring and hard to stay interested.

This is one of the best, logical, motivating, basic guides to managing your money and planning for retirement that I've found.

Most books tell you "save for retirement" and leave it at that. In this book, there is a formula for calculating how much you'll need for retirement, and what that translates to NOW.

This book also has a list of specific questions to ask when looking for a broker, which I haven't found in other books, either.

And has one of the best introductions to the basics of the stock market.

A great book for everyone who is out of debt & is looking to invest. There is little substantial information for people trying to get rid of their debt. I learned a lot about investing from this personal finance guide, but I am in no position to make such financial decisions right now, so I promise to re-read this book later (hopefully at the end of the year when I have paid off my car loan). If you're debt free and looking for a book that will give you the financial advice regarding investments, then you might want to pick this one up.

This was a great book, I purchased this book, I believe it was back in 2005 or 2007 if I'm not mistaken. But anyway. I love how it gives the break down on different ways to save money in this economy. I also found it very helpful and educational by really explaining the breakdowns on retirement plans, stock investments, life insurances, and much much more. I recommend that everyone read this book. It is very insightful. Even thought the title says "Girl", men should read it too, trust me, it really helps...A++

The only financial advise book I found that I could relate to. The other books are written for the middle class. This one actually has ideas on how to save/make extra cash, and advise on investing it. Also deals with psychology of wasting money. Since it's written in the states, there were many chapters on health insurance that I could skip, but otherwise the best of the batch.

I read this one after going through a divorce. I probably should have read it prior to ever getting married.

Best book about finances I've ever read. It's easy to read and the stories make the concepts relatable and easy to understand. A great stocking stuffer for young adults in college.

I liked how skimmable this book was laid out. It was easy to glance through and find areas that I wanted/needed to understand better.

Great, easy read. I enjoyed the stories of women succeeding and the lessons they learned along the way.
