There does seem to be a correlation, but I felt a stronger case could be made in "Eat Right for Your Type", that certain foods are either beneficial or problematic for specific blood types, that blood responds to certain vitamins and minerals in different ways based on its chemical composition. If a person is not absorbing minerals due to the wrong diet, of course they would be out of sorts, even paranoid or withdrawn.
