I received this set of four books from some family friends. They were published in 1967 (the year of my birth) and meant for a school curriculum (this was way before school reading became so watered-down). I especially loved grimm's fairy tales and the Just So stories.

This is a story book full of children's stories that are both interesting and easy to read. It includes pictures and each chapter is a different story. It includes stories about Pooh and Jack and the Beanstalk as two of my favorite stories.
