I am re-reading this book for the 3rd or 4th time - it is an astounding investigation into mystical experience, an ancient science of the soul, and the spiritual heritage of India. The book is also a treatise on the rare spiritual work called Panchastavi, a small book of devotions to the feminine aspect of the Divine. Reading those cantos leaves me with chills...surely, the person who wrote such lyrical praises to the Divine was an enlightened being. Another enlightened being, Gopi Krishna, take ...more

This book is not that easy to read. It makes also clear that Kundalini is not as simple to raise like the fast pace in the Western world would like.
Of course, the author Gopi Krishna writes in this work "theoretically".
