A delightful collection of mermaid/siren stories from many parts of the world that the whole family can enjoy together!

There are nine stories total, the final being inspired by Hans Christian Anderson’s “The Little Mermaid.” My personal favorite is “Melusine,” and “Jing and the Pearls,” which features a merman, was a close second. However, each story is enjoyable with its fairytale feel and beautiful illustrations. Definitely recommend this book for kiddos!

This was such a cute book. The art is beautiful, and my daughters loved it! They changed the ending of The Little Mermaid so that it has a happy ending, but the tiny preface to the story does state this version is based on the original.
