Lots of mythical monsters I didn't know about, especially the Malaysian ones. I liked that the book took a global look at the early myths and legends of werewolves and vampires. It's interesting to see how they might be similar to each other. The book is meant for young readers (warning: some of the images are really creepy!) but I think an adult could enjoy and learn from it - I did!
