This was a beautifully photographed tribute to Jackie. When i was a child she was the one woman besides my mother of course whom i looked up to and wanted to be like. She had so much courage far more than me at her husbands funeral. I was a basket case at my husbands funeral. I admired her for her beauty, dignity, sophistication and most of all for being a great mother to John and Caroline.

While I understand that this was an intimate account by Lowe who’s relationship with the Kennedys is tied to the presidency, it’s regrettable that the tribute to Jacque essentially ends with the death of Jack. Her life, although private, did not end when her husbands did.

I have learned much about Jackie's life. About how she met Jack, what had happened during his presidency and how he died. I learned much more about her. How she died, who her father and mother were, how she acted around people, what her achievements were and what her goals were in her life. I really like this book because it helps me understand her and her husband alot.

Great pictures, and the author gives a good account of what it was like to be on Kennedy's campaign and also in the White House with his family. Fantastic pictures of Jackie, Caroline, John Jr., and JFK.
