I have read many of the A True Book series for young readers and have enjoyed them all. Each has a wonderful kid friendly layout with nice photographs, interesting facts, timelines, lists for additional resources, and a glossary of important key words. This would be a wonderful addition to any middle or high school library or classroom.

Much more fact-packed, eye catching layouts, random inserted facts, clear vocabulary with pronunciations and glossary. Read much more like a middle grade text book than a picture book. Was a better reading level (more challenging) for my 5th grader. Other picture books were too low to be engaging for her.
