Dada and I got Jack this book for his second birthday.
As a big Bluey fan, he loved it immediately. It was the second present he opened and then I had to open the rest because he lost interest in everything else. Mom fail. I should have predicted that.
We read it tonight and he asked me to read it multiple times. It has lots of the characters and Jack was happy to see them all. I felt like there should be a page at the end that has all the friends together and sums things up for the kiddos. Maybe says that they are Bluey’s friend too or something like that.
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4/5) Meet all of Bluey's friends including Rusty, Chloe, Indy, Snickers, Mackenzie, Coco, Lucky, and Honey! Learn about what each one likes to do and how different they all are.
Highlights: Tabs make it easy to select which character you want to learn about. Colorful and uses scenes from various episodes.
Lowlights: Uses scenes from the show instead of creating new storylines.
This was cute. Each spread features one of Bluey's friends with pictures from episodes of the show. I'm sure that Bluey fans will enjoy this book as they will recognize the characters and plots from the show. There is nothing revolutionary in the book but it's still worthwhile for young readers.
I love that this is done in a board tabbed book. It’s easy to use when watching the show as well or just reading on its own. I love how it included references from the show. Overall a great book.
Simple storybook names Bluey's puppy pals and their likes and talents. It's very cute, but it may not make a lot of sense to kids who aren't already well-versed in the episodes of the show.
Look, I like Bluey and my daughter LOVES Bluey so we've read this book a lot. They did Chloe dirty in her pages, and the fact that the Pomeranian got left out is a crime. I honestly don't recognize two of these so called friends so I'll be on the lookout the next time we burn through the TV show together. 😂
Adorable board book showcasing all of our favorite furry friends from down under! This book is a great reference for the Bluey aficionado, with colorful character tabs, so your little reader can quickly find their favorite doggy pals. This is also a great introduction to some of the lovely side characters from the tv series for those newer Bluey fans. Perfect gift idea for any Bluey obsessed kiddo! Thank you to the publisher for providing an advance copy in exchange for an honest review.
