About the author

Teresa Burleson is a 2024 recipient of the CLA Henri
award in the devotional category. She has been
writing poems about Jesus since she was 17.
Her work has appeared in over 45 magazines. In
2002, she received the National League of
American Pen Women Virginia Liebeler Grant
for Mature Women in the letters category. Her
book, the Pilgrim's Lyre, was published in 2003.
And her chapbook, Rose Without Thorns came
out in. 2013. She desires the communicate the truth

This book contains a wonderful selection of daily devotions. By reading one short devotion every day, you will be reminded of who you really are in the eyes of God. I was very much encouraged by each and every selection in the book. It took me 34 days to get through the book because I counted the introduction as additional selections. This is the kind of book that can be read from cover to cover, again and again. It should be pointed out that the devotional selections may be read in any order, too. I am open to reading more of Teresa Burleson's books.

I thought this was a wonderful little devotional book. It had some wonderful devotionals and liked the little prayer at the end of each one. I would definitely recommend this book. Great insights on who we are in Christ.

Lovely thought provoking devotional. The author shares her inner-most intimate thoughts on her Christian walk and the love of God in the form of poems and journal type writings. These pages are meant to be meditated upon .

My wife referred to this book and the person who wrote it as gifted and precious. The author is very good at offering sage advice from the One.
