Bridging has literally saved my life. Although the title says for PTSD, it is easily adapted to whatever problem you face. There is a new workbook as well that is aimed more towards stress that just came out, so I haven't had a change to pick it up yet, but this workbook along with Come to Your Senses are absolute life changers.

I took a Mind Body Bridging training course a few years ago in graduate school and we used this workbook as our guide, so I read it for the first time in 2014 and again this year as a refresher. I really like the concept of MBB and use it in my therapeutic practices with clients often. While some of the terms can be confusing, this book is a helpful guide to explaining the new language.

The workbook is set to take 10 weeks, but it can be done at your own pace (just don't rush it! You want to build these skills and have a good foundation before getting into the heavy stuff). I appreciate the glossary in the back and the final chapter with a very brief explanation of what MBB is.

I recommend therapists and mental health providers become trained in this modality, and use this book as a tool to support clients in their healing journey.

I highly recommend the Mind-Body Workbook for PSTD. The scientific based research, holistic approach to healing and the very practical, plethora of tools and mind-body bridging techniques offered are a priceless resource.
