This book is full of treasures. Marc Allen takes you down the path he followed, discovered and uncovered in his quest to become successful while at the same time remaining (self admittedly) lazy. He is very relatable and real as an artist that woke up on his 30th birthday with nothing to show for himself. Thus begins his journey to "living the dream" but on his terms. He does a beautiful job of listing the books, authors, sprititual practices and "Aha!" moments that he encountered on his adventure to success. One of the things I love most about Marc Allen is that he is very personable and you can tell that he really wants others to be able to find their way to the life they dream of, peace, joy, fullfullment and happiness. I am happy to say that his book helped me greatly in my journey towards all these things.

I appreciated the amount of information and keys to success that are shared, here. Some I'd read about or heard others teach, but many were new. Marc Allen's approach and attitude is much different than most, and I could appreciate that, also. I didn't care for some of the spiritual teachings and perspective, however, which influenced my overall rating.

This is an excellent book that outlines a plan and he is very realistic and down to earth.

I like Marc Allen's writing. Much of what he is saying is common sense , but he has a knack for words.

The Main theme of the book is, "What it takes to become wealthy and How you can do that". That is also the main problem which the author tried to solve.
Let's try to unfold what the author tries to convey in this book.
First, The Title of the book is the most alluring thing in this world: Money, Wealth, Millionaire!
The First question immediately pops into mind, "Can a book or a course can make you Millionaire?"
Certainly, it is just a marketing gimmick and very much harder to believe in, but we shouldn't judge a book by it's cover or title, right?
So, why don't I give a shot and let's find out "what is the author trying to say?"
Then I did some inspectional Reading of the book: Back page, Index, Foreword, Preface, and Introduction.
Nothing out of the ordinary, all the same bullshits of self-help, money making jargon, extraordinary claims and loads of narcissism (personal bullshits).
This book is a 300 page long, divided into 12 lessons as chapters. The author used some sentences which he called "Keys" (in total 165 of them), most of them copied from other books.
After Inspectional and Superficial Reading, I was convinced that this book is not going to give me any extra knowledge. But I was waiting and had loads of time, So I started to read it.
Let's Give Summary of the Book in terms of the lessons -
Lesson 01: Imagine your Ideal Scene - List your goals and Affirm them (usual bullshits like any other self-help book as you can understand)
Lesson 02: Write your plan as simple, clear visualization (same wine in different bottle)
Lesson 03: Discover your Vocation and Purpose (This lesson was kind of useful to me)
Lesson 04: See the Full Half of the glass, the benefits in adversity, and keep picturing success (What a loads of Horseshits!)
Why the fuck can't you just say, "Be Positive". This is simple, elegant, and beautiful.
Lesson 05: Live and Work in partnership with all (EXCEPT, WHY DON'T YOU Fuck me dead!!)
Lesson 06: Avoid Management by Crisis with clear goals and transparency (haha! nothing to say, fuckkkkk!!)
Lesson 07: Love Change and Learn to dance (Seriously!!!)
Lesson 08: Discover your core beliefs, and learn how to change them (Oh! Man!!)
Lesson 09: Grow at your own pace, with an architecture of abundance (You got to be fucking kidding me!)
Lesson 10: Give Abundantly and Reap the Rewards: The 10% solution for personal and global problems (couldn't take it anymore!)
Lesson 11: Become more aware of the spiritual side of life, the power of prayer, meditation, and Relaxation (Anything Else!!)
Lesson 12: Do what you love to do and Success will follow (didn't we know that! are you retard or something!!)
That is the whole summary of the book. Now, I want to tell a story before writing my judgements (I am going to be very much judgemental!). So If you hate being judgemental, please, stop reading further.
When I was in college, My English Professor gave a task of writing a report on Collonialism in India. The days went by fast and i almost forgot about the report.
At the last moment, Professor asked me why didn't I submit the report.
I said, 'Sir, I am sorry. I am still writing it. I will submit it tomorrow'.
"All right. If I don't get it by tomorrow, you are going to get an 'F' for sure.", smiled the Professor.
I didn't have any idea how the fuck I am going to write in a single day. I was bitching about it to my friend.
Then, My friend said, "Relax! Just Collect some of reports and then Copy-Paste it. No Problemo!!"
"What! That's cheating! You can't do that." I cried out loud.
"Then get a fucking 'F', but stop bitching, asshole", said my friend.
I did what my friend suggested and wrote the biggest fucking report than any other in a single day.
Though I got an "F" for plagiarizing, anyway, plus additional punishment for being dishonest.
Who the fuck knew The Teacher is going to use a plagiarism Checker!
Now the criticism and judgement about the book:
I. This book is just a fucking copy-paste of other books. Seventy percents of the book is copied from other books directly or indirectly and other 30 percent is just personal bullshits.
II. This book is fuckingly Repetitive. The author wrote Same bullshits over and over again. Bored me to hell.
III. After reading some of it, You are going to say, "Please, Please, tell me something I don't know. Please, for god sake, Tell me something new."
Finally, Does the book live up to it promise to make you a millionaire? The answer is hell NO. Of course, the reading of the book is not the key - it's the living of the life.
There is a paradox here, "Those who are Millionaire doesn't need to read such books, those who are not reading books like this won't make you a millionaire."

Very handy walk through all of the current literature of growth and affirmation. It is all in one place here, ready to be consulted as you go through your planning and change process. That there is nothing really new here is not a drawback, but rather speaks to the book's comprehensive spirit. Best yet, it is a very quick read -- I was able to go start to finish in less than an hour.
Of course, the reading of the book is not the key -- it's the living of the life. If the reader is considering building a new life, or engaging in big dreams, or beginning projects long put off, this is a good place to start. To infuse your process with a sense of abundance, as the writer suggests, may not necessarily make abundance manifest, but it will make the journey more relaxed. For those who are ever desperate for enough time and money, that is not a bad thing.
Of course, the reading of the book is not the key -- it's the living of the life. mmm, nothing new this is a classic self-help book, even though is exercise-based doesn't give anything new. Visualise your dream set goals etc, the book is full of quotes of as the author call keys.
In the end, there is a mini-course where he summerise the fundamental point
1. decide what you do with your life
2. do it.
3. imagine yourself being successful doing what you love
4. make a plan and take the first step
The problem overall is that the whole book seemed to be a self-promotion of his company at the end there are a bunch of recommendations most of them are books that his company publish.
If you need a self-help book you can find better than this. But I guess if you are new this will give you some good tips.

September 15, 2025This book really only applies if you have a business with employees. It was recommended in another book and then I read the sample but the further I got the less I could apply. I wish the description and first part would have been clear because I feel like I wasted money on this book.

As most voracious readers do, I like to read various works of the author. If one of their books resonates with me at a level of enjoyment, impact and inspiration it only stands to reason that their additional works could do the same.
I was introduced to this author, Marc Allen through a work he co-authored with Mark Fisher “How To Think Like A Millionaire”. Mark Fisher is the author of one of my top 10 books “The Instant Millionaire”. So in many respects, I was giving Marc Allen some vicarious credit in picking up this volume. He is also cofounder along with well-known author Shakti Gawain (“Creative Visualizations”) of the New World Library, a publishing company. That pedigree help me make the decision to read this book.
As I connect the dots from one of my favorite books ("The Instant Millionaire") to this one, “The Millionaire Course” does a good job of going deeper into the concepts of what it takes to become wealthy. It outlines all of the things that are necessary to become successful, and his courses are logical and well laid out. It is rooted in the power of goals, optimism, and the conquering of fear and challenges. A departure from some books on this subject he speaks openly of spiritual values, philanthropy (specifically tithing) and living a balanced life.
True to its title, it is more of a course than a book you would read straight through. It is laid out in a modular format with lots of quotes, introspective questions and workshops. It is also very detailed and as long as the reader sticks with it, it can truly help you build a roadmap for your life.
As an author of books on sales in the psychology of achievement, I understand that each of us needs to hear “The Message” from “The Messenger” that we can relate to and have their messages resonate and inspire us. Not every book will appeal to everyone. So while I like this book, and believe in the concepts and principles outlined, it does not resonate with me as much as other works in this genre...thus the 3 star rating.
For those seeking a course approach and are new to goal setting, finding life fulfilling work, and need guidance this would be a great book.

Not a blueprint or a steps-to-success book, it's much more about spiritual fulfillment than about making money. Using koan-like "keys" (e.g., "We don't need money to be happy or fulfilled. October 13, 2013I never read Marc Allen before and I have to say this is not what I expected from the title. 20 pages into this I felt like I was expected to solve all of my problems with affirmations crystals and contemplating my navel. I slogged through the whole book and did find some good life advice. I guess I was expecting a how to book of financial planning. I am glad I read it it just wasn't what I was planning on when I purchased the book. Thanks, Marc.

It was SO good. And despite what the title may imply, it's not so much about money, but about living life to the fullest and tips on getting the most out of it. Very inspirational, practical, and motivating. Highly recommend!

The title of this book doesn't really capture how broadly-applicable it is. More than just a guidebook for going after a specific monetary goal, it's a blueprint for relaxed, happy, goal achievement. Highly recommended.

I found this person's transformation fascinating and inspiring. I'm very much into inspiring reads especially about prosperity.

I'm sure making millions is more than just praying for it or meditating about it. I did like the part about setting goals, but not a lot of meat to this presentation.
