Robert
Time is meaningless when nothing changes.
After 500 years of living in solitude,
I have been called back to the land of the living to right the wrongs of my creations.
My mistakes.
I’ve been gone so long that everything has changed and I don’t even know where to start fixing it.

Lily
My will was stolen and I was turned into a Lycan.

Triggers: kidnapping, violent fights depicted, murder.

Note: artificial insemination pregnancy

Well well, I was expecting this to be more of a steam, and one and done attempt at being fantastical in lycanthropy romance novels.

But well, it took a darker violent, and emotional turn that I was not expecting.

I mean think about it. We got this heroine, kidnapped and pregnant for crazy lunatics who have some weird notion of adopting a kid that way.

And then we have the misguided hero, who has too many regrets than the supreme court of the USA's bullshit laws, to deal with. So..how do you make of a couple like that?

Well. You get a violent, emotional and steamy confrontation to realities (as much as there can be in a fantasy novel), catty behaviour, well developed characters (side too), and some tear choking moments of sweetness as well. And some last minute revenge planned as well?

That is what I got, people and I was here for it. Every single second.

So I am looking forward to more works in the future for sure.

This book was absolutely incredible. Once I dove into this book, I was a goner. Lord Alpha is so well written and intriguing that you will want to get lost in the story and savor every little bit that it has to offer. These books have been so good, and the story just keeps getting better and better. I swooned so hard when it came to Lily and Robert's chemistry. They were so great together. If you want a book that will let you get lost and escape to a magical place, then look no further.

This book was hands-down phenomenal. It is a unique perspective on Lycans that had me hooked from the beginning. I burned through the pages, devouring the story, the details, and the characters. This story has a tragic history, a curse to break, pack unrest, witches, and a newly turned, pregnant Lycan who is a beacon of hope to them all.

The instant chemistry between Lily and Robert gave me butterflies. Lily is a strong woman to face everything she has while maintaining hope and truly embracing her new life while Robert begins to actually live his life for the first time in 500 years thanks to Lily.

I’ve read a lot of shifter stories and this a unique take on lycans with a tragic history on how the first lycan came to be with a curse to break that started 500years ago.

I did enjoy the concept of this story, FMC Lily who is kidnapped and turned into a Lycan whilst pregnant. Saved by Robert who takes her in to the pack where there’s a lot of hate and jealousy towards Lily by some pack members. Through all this Lily stays strong and positive.
The relationship between Lily and Robert was really sweet and thanks to Lily Robert can start living again after 500yrs of being alone.

This was the first book I read by Kelly Coulter and it was absolutely incredible. I honestly was hooked from the get go and could not put it down. There is action right from the beginning and is continues throughout the whole story. This was my first book with Lucan shifters and I look forward to more stories with them. Lily the main character was my favorite, she really grew through this story. Also there was a budding romance but I can’t say with who but it is an amazing story.

This was my introduction to Kelly Coulter and I will definitely read her again. It was so hard to put down. It is a unique perspective on Lycans and take you through the journey of the first. Lily and Robert were perfect. I love the relationship between the two of them. I love their chemistry. While Lily is embracing her life, Robert is starting to live his. The cliffhanger has me ready to read the next installment.

This was my first Kelly Coulter book but it will NOT be my last! Once I started reading I couldn’t put it down, stayed up most of the night to read it in one go and the lack of sleep was worth it! I loved how Lord Alpha was about the first Lycan and I absolutely loved Robert and Lily! I enjoyed watching both of them grow throughout the story. That cliffhanger though! Ugh! I cannot wait for the next book!

These books just keep getting better and better. Lord Alpha continues the Blood Witch Chronicles in the most epic way, following the first Lycan. The way his story is presented and carefully woven together with Lily's is masterful. From beginning to end I was completely enthralled wanting to know how this was going to end! I'm dying for the next book and that teaser at the end was just 🤌
