Having Wendish ancestors (50%) I was most interested in this little guide! The author discusses the history of the Wends, and their religious traditions. He tells good archaeological information, apparently well-researched! Recommended to those interested in pagan religions, the Wendish or the Slavs, or both!

I've always enjoyed the work of Flowers. I think he finds himself a little outmatched here, as much of the Wendish history is lost to time. Flowers tends to dig up lost written works and doctrine to fill and inform the wonder of history and it seems like the Wendish folk had very little left to share. As a result most of what Flowers describes here leaves me knowing as little as when I started, some snippets of gods and wars with general sociology education.
