This book is really cool for anyone living in the Triangle area of NC. There are so many towns around this state that aren't known for anything huge, so they get passed over. I plan on hitting several of these road trips in 2015!

Great for planning spur of the moment trips and inexpensive day trips. All of the suggestions are filled with local flavor and/or historical meaning.

good overview of short trips, if it had more information about accessibility that would make me give it all five stars
