For it’s pre-internet day, this would have been a decent book. It came out in 1994, at a time when we didn’t quite have everything just a click away. If you wanted a quick bio of an artist, with some of his most memorable work, this was where you turned. Today, of course, you could write this by just cut and pasting from Wikipedia.

The only reason today to get this would be the decent forewords by Jack Kirby and John Byrne, and a quick potted history of the comics industry.

A good book for its day.
