This was an extremely interesting book. It was written by an Italian scientist who had first hand knowledge of a group of aliens living in Italy who made friends with a group of people including professors, doctors, scientists and regular people. This group friendship lasted for 30 or so years. These aliens were trying to teach the humans things about humanity, friendship and love with the hopes that they would teach others. The aliens were from a number of different planets, and they wanted us earthlings to become more civilized before we start traveling out in the universe. Their purpose on earth was similar to another book I recently read that took place in the Netherlands. Now, keep in mind that this was not supposed to be fiction. However, the author himself was not sure if it was all for real, even though he met many of the aliens. These aliens were all humanoid and looked like us for the most part, except most of them were extremely tall, like 6 1/2 feet tall and taller, so they did not travel outside their bases often. Although I do believe in UFOs and visitations (because I have seen a real UFO), I did have a somewhat hard time buying into this. But, it could be true. There is more out there that we do not know about than we do know about. What the book was lacking was
descriptions of the planets and lifestyles of these various aliens.

This book is Bruno's version of the Amicizia Saga. It is fundamental to understand the whole event.
