This was required reading for a class. The book is a very good start to the pursuit of Community Development research.

Interested in knowing community development and its challenges

I got stuck having to use this book or my community development class (upper undergrad/graduate level). It is written at a middle-school level. I will not be using it again. I think that the Philips and Pittman book is a much better option.
