Fundamental Neuroscience

Rate this book
Fundamental Neuroscience , developed specifically for the medical student market,
combines the visual appeal of an atlas with the coherent teaching style of a textbook.
Its coverage is wholly human, with many examples taken from clinical medicine. The book was designed to provide a solid coverage of cell biology, neuron structure and function, communication, and embryological development of the nervous system. Human regional neuroanatomy and systems neurobiology are thoroughly discussed to provide a basis for the understanding of brain and spinal cord function. Magnificent, specially-commissioned full colour diagrams, radiographic images and photographs - coupled with the combined expertise of numerous expert contributors - help make difficult concepts easy to understand.

The details are to be commended upon. The only downside is that it is not as student friendly as Patestas & Gartner and Carpenters.
