Tak pelik kenapa buku ini berjuta sudah dijual kerana hari hari kita banyak berurusan dengan orang sekeliling sama ada dalam kerja atau luar kerja.
Kadang kita kesuntukan path perkataan untuk menjelaskan keadaan dan dilihat profesional. Selagi mana kita manusia maka kita tidak boleh lari dalam konflik. Apa yang kita boleh but sebahagian darina mengunakan perkataan yang tepat dan jelas. Penulis memperkenalkan Rules of Engagement iaitu Conflict Resolution is Not for the Faint of Heart, kena tengok balik diri kita sama ada kita ni ada courage, mampu imbangkan interest kita dengan orang lain. Selain itu, tahu apabila kita ingin mask dalam conflict atau hold, seterusnya imbangkan cooperation dan advocacy.
Seterusnya be direct and avoid triangulation. Ada 4 step bole diikuti adalah pertama fahamkan isu, kedua letakkan vision, ketiga menyelusuri atlernatif dan keempat adalam bersetuju dengan action yang kita akan lakukan.

Book is loaded with many great ideas to diffuse conflict in the work environment.
Seems these days all people want to do is physically or verbally fight each other and most of the time the conflict initiated is directed at the wrong party. This references has many different "chill pill phrases" to diffuse that conflict. Rather than lose your temper or your mind you need to be able to pull this reference off the shelf, laugh, and RSVP. A must for your professional development or leadership library.

A cool little booklet to memorize in case one cannot fire people at work and needs to spew platitudes and bromides.

Most of it is plain common sense but here and there one will find a few hidden gems to make one think .

Many of the suggested phrases say "let me have you talk to a manager/supervisor about that." That's not resolving the conflict its simply passing it off to someone else

This is literally a list of phrases to help you say difficult things. Very dull reading (book club). It's more of a reference book.
