The former ABC anchor relates his experiences as a correspondent, starting with the Second World War and continuing with all the events and people that have shaped the latter half of the twentieth century. Reprint. 25,000 first printing.
This is a well written book by a respected reporter of the 20th century. I like the way it was organized in a chronological order so that I wasn't mixed up about what he was talking about. Very meaty. I can usually read a page a minute but this book took about 3 minutes a page because of the complexity.
