This is the third volume of Chapter 16: Waging the War on Terror. This was published in 2004 and is still relevant to the situation of fighting terror throughout the world. I am glad for this series and its attempt to show how we can fight terror by keeping alert to what the devil is trying to do by way of the terrorists. I like the way the good guys depend on prayer and know that they would fight a loosing battle if the Lord is set aside and we try to defeat terrorism without the Lord.

I purchased this at my local used bookstore, and didn't know it was the third and final book of a series until I was well into reading it.

That said, it was still an exciting story. Jake Thoene has inherited his parents' gift of storytelling. Now, I need to seek out the first two books, and then maybe read this again; I'll probably notice details I didn't the first time.

Excellent story

I have read all 3 of these books now, and the stories are all amazing. The theology presented in this book is a bit shaky at best, but for a good anti-terrorism book that isn’t riddled with graphic violence and language I would highly recommend this series.

3.5 Stars - this was a good story within its own right, however as part of the series is was disappointing... It did not really end, so is there another book?

This book was written in a completely different tone than the other two. I wouldn't have even thought they were written by the same author.\n\nThis plot was much more contrived. Like the Tracy and Mike plot was only there to provide passes into the event. Which it was then dumb to string it throughout the book and there was a better way to achieve the end.\n\nAlso, the story line of Steve & his wife that was woven throughout the first two books was completely dropped in this one. \n\nI didn't like Anton dying. There was no purpose to it. It neither furthered nor completed the plot line.\n\nAnd as for Agent Caracas voice mail setting off a chain of dangerous events, it didn't. It is mentioned at the start and then not again towards the end of the book. It does help unravel some of the plot for the agents, but didn't set anything at all in motion.\n\nI was very disappointed. A sorry end to a mediocre series.

Wow! I'm out of breath running alongside the heroes of this novel. So close to real life, if I didn't have Jesus securely in my heart and life, this novel could terrorize me with its parallels and possibilities.

These United States need to find God again. We, as Christians, need to stand up, fight for our nation, and what she was founded upon. One Nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all!!
