This slim but extensive book for public library program ideas to keep teens visiting the library is divided into two parts: Core Programs (Popular Booklists, Clubs and Reading Programs)andGuidelines for a Year of Programs for Teens (January "Start the Year Out Write Live Journals" through December "Festival of Cultures". There is lots of energy and creativity in this great book of teen services. Includes an Appendix and Index. Recommended for ther many ideas you can customize to your library.

This is an excellent resource for librarians who want to do programs with their teens. Many of the ideas can be tweaked to do in a class period.

Really great ideas, but most are much longer-term than I can handle by myself.
